Book Review Sites I Frequent . . .
Authors count on reviews from lots of places. Good word of mouth is the best way to sell books. In this age of Internet marketing and social media, book review sites serve a key role in getting the word out about books. Here are some of my favorites. Of course, an author never knows if the review will be positive but it's certainly worth the chance.
Romance Divas -- Now a membership group with over 2,000 romance readers. I remember when this group started and I was in the first 20 or so members. It is an amazing place for authors, readers, and all things romance. BLogs, chats, discussion forums, everything a reader or author would want. Oh, and of course, they do reviews.
Night Owl Romance -- This is an amazing site that is good for both authors and readers. It provides author pages, does interviews and chats, and has a large group of reviewers that cover the genres.
Long and Short Reviews -- One of the most visited romance review sites on the web. They do interviews and chats, feature authors for a month or more, and have a large group of reviewers who cover the various romance genres.
The Romance Reviews -- A great site for reviews and getting to know authors. They do interviews, feature authors for a month, and have a large group of reviewers who cover the romance genre.
